About this template
The Travel App template is a fully built travel and booking UI that takes users from destination discovery all the way to a digital boarding pass. The home screen opens with a personalised greeting, a search bar, transport mode tabs (Flight / Hotel / Bus), and a curated grid of destination cards loaded with real photography.
The Flights tab delivers a complete search experience: origin and destination route selector, date and passenger pickers, and a scrollable list of flight results with airline, duration, stops, and pricing. Tapping a result transitions to a boarding pass screen with QR code, seat, and gate details.
The clean white-and-green palette and floating glassmorphic tab bar feel premium and trustworthy — exactly what users expect from a travel brand. Every screen is a standalone Expo Router file, so adding hotels, car hire, or a loyalty programme is a single prompt away.
Design approach
A crisp white (#FFFFFF) canvas pairs with forest green (#00B14F) to signal trust and freshness — the two things every traveller wants from a booking app. Destination cards use full-bleed Unsplash photography with a subtle gradient overlay so text is always readable. The tab bar floats above content on a blurred glass panel, keeping the interface uncluttered.
