How it works
1. Install Expo Go
Get the free Expo Go app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Connect your Expo account once
In the studio, open Test on your phone and connect your Expo account.
3. Scan the QR code
Point your phone camera or Expo Go at the QR code. The app opens on your phone.
4. Or run the download
Download the project, run npm install and npx expo start, and scan the QR code that appears in your terminal.
What to know first
- You need a free Expo account to get the QR code in the studio.
- Building the app and downloading it need a paid plan.
- Expo Go is for testing. Publishing to the App Store or Google Play needs a store build.
